Another Day One Release of PS Plus Extra Announced

PS Plus subscribers will get another day one release, Blue Prince will be available on April 10.

During the latest PlayStation State of Play event, Sony highlighted three day one games coming to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus in 2025. One of the games was Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, which released its first episode last week and has a second one coming in April. Abiotic Factor, a multiplayer survival game, is coming to PS Plus Extra as a day one release at some point this summer. And finally, it was confirmed that Blue Prince would be a day one PS Plus Extra game this spring. Now, thanks to an Xbox event, PS Plus Extra subscribers know exactly when Blue Prince will be released.

The latest ID@Xbox event confirmed Blue Prince is launching on April 10. Blue Prince is coming to Xbox Game Pass as well as PS Plus, hence why it was featured at the Xbox show. In any case, the release date confirmation confirms exactly when PS Plus Extra subscribers have their next day one release to look forward to, and it’s not all that far away.

PS Plus Essential subscribers will be missing out on Blue Prince, but those who are signed up for Extra or Premium will be able to play the game on the day of its release.
