Asus ROG Ally X Release Date Announced

The Asus ROG Ally series, which elevates the portable gaming experience, is returning with the ROG Ally X. According to the latest information, the device will hit European markets in October. While an official announcement hasn’t been made yet, leaks from reliable sources have fueled gamers’ excitement.

Asus ROG Ally X Coming in October

According to information from data miner Billbil-kun of Dealabs, the Asus ROG Ally and ROG Ally X will be released on October 16. Pre-orders are expected to open during Gamescom on August 20. Previous pricing rumors confirm this; the ROG Ally is expected to be priced at €599, and the ROG Ally X at €899.

Asus ROG Ally X Release Date Announced

The leaked date is reportedly for the European market, with release expected in other regions, including North America, on the same date. The official announcement is likely to come at Gamescom later this month. It has also been confirmed that Xbox will hold a livestream from the show on August 20th.

Both models come with Windows 11 Home. The ROG Ally is equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512GB SSD, while the ROG Ally X offers an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD. Both devices feature a 7-inch FHD IPS display, a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Weight-wise, the ROG Ally weighs 670 grams, while the ROG Ally X weighs 715 grams. Battery capacities also vary; The ROG Ally comes with a 60Wh battery, while the ROG Ally X comes with an 80Wh battery. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
