Bad News for Wolverine Game

Players who have been waiting for clear information about the Wolverine game from PlayStation for a long time have encountered a new development. The latest shared investor presentation clarified that the game will not be released this year.

New Date Hopes for Wolverine Game Weakened

A slide in PlayStation’s latest presentation revealed the important games the brand plans to release by 2025. While Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei were included in this list, a “Coming Soon” note was dropped for Wolverine. This statement indicates that the game is not included in the 2025 plan and is unlikely to come before 2026.

Bad News for Wolverine Game

When Insomniac Games first announced Wolverine, there was great excitement among gamers. However, the studio has avoided sharing detailed information about the project in the four years that have passed. Still, considering the fluctuating pace of the gaming world, a five-year development period is considered normal for PlayStation studios. This provides some consolation to gamers.

Some sources suggest that new information about Wolverine could be shared towards the end of the year, especially at events like The Game Awards. However, expectations for the release date have now shifted to 2026. After the long wait, gamers’ only hope is that Insomniac makes the most of this time.
