Baldur’s Gate 3 Dark Urge New Ending
Larian Studios did announced that Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t be receiving anymore DLCs, but there is still plenty of new content for players to look forward to. Still, one of the most fun and chaotic choices in the game to take on is The Dark Urge.
In the official Twitter account by Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios revealed a 51 second teaser trailer showcasing The Dark Urge protagonist using mind control on the bewildered companions Lae’zel, Shadowheart, and Wyll to force them to jump off a high structure to their deaths. The new Dark Urge playthrough ending will be made available in the BG3 Patch 7 Update in September, but a concrete date has yet to be confirmed.
Many players have already experienced the adventure of Baldur’s Gate 3 Dark Urge, but those who haven’t can look forward to start playing once patch goes live. Along with the introduction of Patch 7’s Evil Endings, which was initially teased for Baldur’s Gate 3’s closed beta on July 22 but then delayed until September, are the brand new cinematic endings for these villainous playthroughs.
Another interesting aspect of Patch 7 is Baldur’s Gate 3 split-screen gameplay, which will dynamically merge when player characters are close to each other and split back up when they move apart. Other additions to the Patch will include a Mod Manager, Honor Mode Combat, new Legendary Actions, UI improvements, and refined character animations. Patch 7 will also optimize performance, giving players a smoother gameplay experience.
