Baldur’s Gate 3 Mod Released for Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley offers a brand new experience for Baldur’s Gate 3 fans. This mod, called Baldur’s Village, adds characters, locations, and events inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3 to the world of Stardew Valley. The mod comes with a new village map north of Pelican Town, giving players the chance to encounter familiar faces like Astarion. Moreover, Astarion is currently the first character in the mod’s romance options.
Stardew Valley Baldur’s Village Mod Content
Baldur’s Village is a compatible addition to the existing world of Stardew Valley, and works without disrupting players’ existing saves. The mod includes over 20 new NPCs, 6 different locations, dynamic events, shops, and a variety of new items. The new village map can be accessed from the mountain road near Linus’s tent.
The most striking feature of the mod is the addition of Baldur’s Gate 3 character Astarion as a romance option. Astarion has his own special gift preferences and heart events. The mod team announced that other characters like Halsin will be added to the romance options in future updates. In addition, the mod world is planned to be expanded further, background stories to be detailed, and new items to be added to the game.
In order to run Baldur’s Village mod, some additional tools that are frequently used in Stardew Valley’s modding community are needed. These include the Stardew Modding API, Content Patcher, and Portraiture mods. Portraiture mod adds pixel-art portraits of Baldur’s Gate 3 characters to the game. You can switch between portraits by pressing the P key while talking to the characters. The mod is available for free download from Nexus Mods and has already reached nearly 4,000 downloads.
