Batman: Arkham Shadows Release Date
Batman: Arkham Shadow sits between Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum in the timeline, so don’t expect it to remake the disastrous extension of the Suicide Squad franchise: Kill The Justice League tried to be.
Batman: Arkham Shadows Release Date Announced for October
Roger Craig Smith, who voiced the younger version of the Dark Knight in Arkham Origins, returns to portray Batman, while the late Kevin Conroy voiced the older version.
In terms of villains, Batman will face off against Ratcatcher and his minion cult, but the trailer also gave us a glimpse at a few others, including Harleen Quinzel before she transforms into Harley Quinn.
The gameplay looks like everything you’d expect from a Batman: Arkham game, with combat, fighter encounters and detective mode all accounted for, but this time shown through the lenses of your VR headset.
It looks gorgeous, and while we’ll reserve full judgment until we get our hands on the game, we can’t deny that it doesn’t look like the most immersive Batman experience yet.
