Batman Project That Was Canceled Years Ago Leaked

The canceled Batman game starring Damian Wayne has returned to the agenda after years. The project, which previously appeared with concept drawings, surprised the gaming world with a short video this time. The images show Damian Wayne as Batman and Killer Croc chasing each other on a motorcycle. These new leaked images also reveal how far the game codenamed Project Sabbath had come before it was canceled.

Project Sabbath, Which Batman Fans Cannot Forget, Is Back

The video shared by a user named Atomsmith on YouTube was first noticed on ArkhamChannel. In the video, Killer Croc, who is designed to look similar to his appearance in Arkham Origins, is seen riding a motorcycle. Immediately afterwards, the scene where Damian Wayne jumps over him with the Batcycle comes. Damian’s costume resembles the Batman Beyond armor in Arkham Knight. The video ends with the duo entering a fast-paced chase.

Project Sabbath was originally planned to be a sequel to Arkham Knight. However, Warner Bros. canceled this project during the development process and shifted its focus to the Gotham Knights game. However, Gotham Knights did not fully meet the expectations of the players. This situation caused the canceled project to be brought back to the agenda.

It was claimed that the Nemesis System, which we know from the Middle-Earth: Shadow series, would also be included in the canceled game. This system allowed the player’s relationships with their enemies to change throughout the game. In addition, Bruce Wayne and other familiar characters were seen in the concept drawings leaked in the past weeks.

In a recent statement by Warner Bros. Games, it was stated that they would focus more on the Batman, Mortal Kombat and Hogwarts Legacy brands. This new strategy could make it easier for projects that were canceled in the past to come back to the agenda. This short video showing Damian Wayne’s potential as Batman has created new expectations among the players.
