New information has emerged about Battlefield 6‘s highly anticipated battle royale mode. Developed by Ripple Effect, this mode combines classic battlefield chaos with survival, while also drawing attention with innovative systems in addition to solo and team modes. Important details about both gameplay and the story of the universe were reached in the game’s data mining files.

The Gauntlet game type in the mode will offer players more than just an ordinary survival experience. In this mode, teams will try to complete missions, and the team with the lowest score in each round will be eliminated. In addition, as in traditional battle royale modes, there will be solo, duo, trio and quadruple team options, armor system, loot classes, summon systems and mechanics such as map shrinkage.

On the story side, the mode centers on a secret military R&D base. According to a reliable data miner named Temporyal, this base becomes vulnerable to attack after a massive explosion, and conflicts begin between various mercenary groups. Players will be part of an elite unit tasked with taking control of this base and protecting its secrets.

Thanks to dynamic missions called Priority Missions, teams that complete certain objectives on the map will be able to earn special rewards. However, they will also be vulnerable to attacks from other teams during these missions. The rewards include vehicle keys and special weapon packages.

Skill upgrades called Field Upgrades and a limited respawn system will also be included in the game. Players will be able to respawn once at the beginning of the match, and they will also be able to bring back their teammates thanks to respawn towers like in Fortnite.

One of the most striking features is the Oversight System. Thanks to this system, players who die will continue to stay on the field and provide information to enemies via remote cameras, drones and automatic turrets, and will be able to influence the course of the battle.
