Battlefield 6 Players Get a Free Gift from PS Plus
EA’s legendary warfare series, Battlefield 6, is finally expanding with the long-awaited RedSec mode. This new, free-to-play mode brings back the Battlefield V Firestorm experience with a modern twist. Released alongside the game’s Season 1 update, the mode boasts new maps, weapons, and a battle pass system. The best news for PlayStation Plus owners is that the exclusive Rogue Ops cosmetic pack is available completely free.
Rogue Ops Pack for Battlefield 6 Players
Starting October 28th, all active PlayStation Plus members—whether Essential, Extra, or Premium—will be able to get this pack for free. The Rogue Ops pack offers 11 exclusive items for players to use in both multiplayer and RedSec. These items include the “Going Dark” soldier skin, the “Night Raid” vehicle skin, the “Arctic Reign” weapon pack, and the “Lamina” parachute.
The bundle also includes cosmetic details such as the “Target Spotted” player card background, the “Lead Rain” dog tag, and the “Jacked In” weapon charm. Considering that this exclusive set is available for $19.99 on Xbox and PC, it’s a pretty good deal for PS Plus users.
The dark “Going Dark” skin quickly sparked controversy among some players. A similar design caused visibility issues with the Rose “Rook” skin in Call of Duty: Warzone. However, the inclusion of white armor details in the Battlefield 6 version largely eliminates this problem.
Players wishing to purchase the bundle simply need to log in to their PlayStation Store accounts and download the Rogue Ops pack with their active PS Plus subscription. EA announced that players can use this content directly in RedSec. Battlefield 6 is making a strong start to the season with both its new mode and this free gift.
