Battlefield 6 RedSec Comes With Duo and Squad Modes
Battlefield 6 RedSec has made headlines in the gaming world with its highly anticipated Battle Royale mode. According to new leaks, the game will initially be playable only in Duo and Squad formats. While the lack of a solo survival option may surprise some players, EA is said to be adding new options in future updates.
Battlefield 6 RedSec Focuses on Duo and Squad Formats
According to ModernWarzone, Battlefield 6 RedSec will only allow two different team formats at launch: two-player Duo teams and four-player Squad teams. This structure means that 100-player matches will be played with combinations of 50 or 25 teams. The source who shared the leak indicates that this limit may be expanded in the future.
RedSec, the new Battle Royale entry in the Battlefield series, was originally known as “Firestorm.” However, EA plans to rebrand the game and release it to players in a surprise launch on October 28th. This move appears to be designed to both refresh the Battlefield universe and bring a new dimension to its rivals like Call of Duty and Fortnite.
Devoted fans of the series anticipate that the gameplay will be filled with massive battlefields, despite the limitations of Duo and Squads. The pace of 100-player battles seems to combine the chaos of classic Battlefield with the pace of Battle Royale. However, players who prefer to fight solo will have to wait a bit longer.
Releasing RedSec with this format may be a strategic choice by EA to gauge community reaction. Solo and five-player modes are expected to be added in future updates. For now, players have only one question: Which team will they step onto the battlefield with in Battlefield 6 RedSec?
