Bellum is Available for Pre-Order
Announced in August of last year, Bellum attracted attention as an ambitious tactical shooter project developed by a small team. Most players thought that the project would require at least 2-3 years of development. However, Astarte Industries is preparing to release the game much earlier than expected by disappointing these expectations.
When Will Bellum Be Released?
Bellum is about a fictional conflict in the Sahel region. The game pits US Army Rangers units, Russian mercenaries, and local militia against each other. While even the gameplay trailer released last month created excitement, the development team officially announced that players will get the game in 2025.
The game’s pre-order system consists of tiered packages, similar to Escape From Tarkov. The lowest package starts at $35.99, while the $299.99 Founder Edition package offers advantages such as three game keys, special in-game costumes, and game-themed physical gifts. Owners of this version will be able to participate in the first closed tests this summer.
Supporter Edition ($95.99) owners will join the tests in a few months, while Deluxe Edition ($47.99) owners will have the opportunity to try the game towards the end of the year. The development team plans to offer the game to all owners in open beta before the end of 2025.
Another striking detail is that Bellum will not be available for sale on Steam. Astarte Industries stated that they preferred to transfer Steam’s 30 percent commission to the development and marketing budget. Game keys can only be obtained from Bellum’s official website. It is a matter of curiosity how this bold step will affect the future of the game. For now, tactical shooter fans have started the countdown for Bellum.
