Black Myth: Wukong is a third-person action game inspired by the Chinese classic Journey to the West. Players will use the Monkey King’s special abilities to fight against a variety of enemies. The game features 72 different abilities, numerous powerful bosses and a world full of diverse enemies. With a combat system similar to Sekiro and Dark Souls style games, players will focus on dodging enemy attacks and making the most of their abilities.
A few months ago, NVIDIA announced that the game will offer full Ray Tracing support on PC. This means players will be able to enjoy ray-traced global lighting, shadows and reflections. Additionally, the game will support NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.5 Frame Rendering and Ray Reconstruction features.
Game Science has released a benchmarking tool for those interested in testing the game’s performance. This tool allows gamers to measure the performance they can achieve on their systems. NVIDIA recommends downloading and using this benchmarking tool. However, the current version is reported to have some major shader compilation and transition stuttering, so players are hoping that these issues will be fixed in the final release of the game.
Black Myth: Wukong is due out on PC on August 20th and will be protected by Denuvo anti-tamper technology.
