Bloober Team Shared Updates About Their Upcoming Games
After releasing the sci-fi survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn, developer Bloober Team has unveiled its plans for 2026 and beyond, including sharing brand new details on four upcoming games.
The Future of Bloober Team
Critics and fans alike were skeptical years back when it was first announced that the indie developer Bloober Team would be tackling the highly-requested Silent Hill 2 remake, and yet, just one year since that title’s well-received launch, audiences are champing at the bit to learn even more about what is in the works at the Polish studio. While it has already been confirmed that Bloober Team will be working on a full remake of the original Silent Hill, a number of secretive projects are now also being brought to light.
Upcoming Games by Bloober Team
- Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition (Nintendo Switch 2)
- I Hate This Place (PC, PS5, Switch, Xbox Series X|S)
- Project F
- Project M (Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2)
- Star Trek: Infection (Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3, SteamVR)
In an investor relations report, Bloober Team confirmed release dates and windows for previously announced titles, along with sharing new information on other projects, such as the mysterious Nintendo exclusive Project M. Layers of Fear: The Final Masterpiece Edition is confirmed to release digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025, while Project M, the codename for a Nintendo-only title, will receive an official premiere in 2026. Project M is being developed by Broken Mirror Games, a second-party studio under Bloober Team that helps with co-created projects. Broken Mirror Games is also working on a codenamed Project F, which is planned for a 2026 reveal, and is heading the upcoming isometric survival horror game I Hate This Place, based on the comic series of the same name by Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin, launching for PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on January 29, 2026.
Additionally, Bloober Team confirmed that it will release Star Trek: Infection, a VR survival horror game set in the Star Trek universe, on December 11, 2025, for Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 3, and SteamVR. Bloober Team’s current development strategy encompasses projects being developed within a 2023-2027 timeframe, and Bloober Team Ceo Piotr Babieno notes that the company’s “primary goal is to strengthen Bloober Team’s position in the premium horror gaming segment and consistently implement long term development strategy through diverse projects.”
As the Bloober Team game catalog continues to grow, many are curious to see how much of the studio’s upcoming projects will remain within the familiar realm of horror or if some of the newer titles will branch out further beyond the company’s existing areas of expertise. Interested fans can stay tuned for more news on upcoming games from Bloober Team, including the Silent Hill 1 remake, Project M, and more.
