Blood: Refreshed Supply Announced

The Blood series holds a cult place in gaming history with its unique style. This journey, which began in 1997, has endured over the years thanks to both the dedication of fans and the renewed influence of developers. Now, Blood: Refreshed Supply, announced in collaboration with Warner Bros. Games, Atari, and Nightdive Studios, is revitalizing the series. The details revealed hint at an experience that goes far beyond a nostalgic return.

Blood: Refreshed Supply Coming to Modern Consoles

Blood: Refreshed Supply is poised to bring the classic horror-FPS experience, first released in 1997, to modern technology. The game has been announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. A release date of December 4th has been announced, with a Switch 2 release date of 2026. This broad platform support demonstrates the game’s commitment to bringing together veteran and new players.

Nightdive Studios is offering a more comprehensive version of the game, following its 2019 PC release of Fresh Supply. Refreshed Supply stands out not only for its technical improvements but also for its new quests and modding support. The “Marrow” scenario will be available at launch, while “Death Wish” will be available for free after launch. These additions are key innovations that will ensure the series remains vibrant.

The game’s visuals are also undergoing a major leap forward. Support for 4K resolution and 120 FPS promises a modern experience on both consoles and PC. Online multiplayer modes and local split-screen support will also be available. Co-op and PvP support for up to eight players will bring Blood’s multiplayer experience to a wider audience, a key factor in ensuring its longevity.

On the story front, fan-favorite Caleb returns. This resurrected anti-hero embarks on a vengeful journey against Tchernobog. Both the classic campaign and the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage add-ons are included in the Refreshed Supply pack, providing players with an experience that is both nostalgic and expanded.
