Bloodlines 2 Won’t End With a Single Playthrough
After a four-year delay, Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is finally getting ready to launch on October 21st. After a long development period, the game’s trophy list has finally leaked, and it looks like things are getting serious this time. Bad news for those hoping for a one-time adventure: the platinum trophy can only be earned through multiple playthroughs.
Vampire: Bloodlines 2 Will Be Replayable with Different Endings
According to a list shared by PowerPyx for trophy watchers, Bloodlines 2 comes with a whopping 65 trophies. 62 of these are bronze, one silver, one gold, and, of course, one platinum trophy. Furthermore, 13 new trophies will be added with the first DLC pack, arriving on release day, bringing the total to 78. This proves the game’s significant replayability.
The trophy descriptions suggest that the different decisions players make throughout the story will be crucial. For example, the “A Willing Victim” and “A Dire Warning” trophies represent diametrically opposed decisions during a crucial scene involving Veronica. This means it’s impossible to collect all the trophies in a single playthrough. Players will have to complete the game multiple times to experience the different paths and endings.
While some fans believe they can shorten this process by copying save files, the effectiveness of these methods will only be determined once the game is released. However, it’s already clear that Bloodlines 2 will require patience and strategy, rather than a superficial experience.
After years of anticipation, Bloodlines 2 is expected to offer players a long-lasting experience with its deep character relationships, diverse endings, and rich dialogue options. The game stands out not only for its vampire stories but also for its narrative, where moral choices and consequences are paramount.
