Borderlands 4 DLC Plans Revealed
Gearbox has excited fans of the series by sharing its DLC plans for Borderlands 4 ahead of its official release date in September. While the Standard Edition of Borderlands 4 will be available for $69.99, the higher-priced packages will also include the game’s post-launch content. After Randy Pitchford came to the fore with his pricing discussions, these content details have created a new movement among players.
DLC Packages to be Offered for Borderlands 4
Gearbox announced that the content prepared for Borderlands 4 will be offered to players in two different editions. The Deluxe Edition and Super Deluxe Edition include new post-launch zones, missions, vehicles, and cosmetics in addition to the base game. The $99.99 Deluxe Edition includes the package called the “Bounty Pack Bundle.” This package includes four new zones, unique bosses, four new Vault Cards, and various cosmetics. Players will also be offered new vehicles and equipment.
The Super Deluxe Edition will be sold for $129.99 and will give players the “Vault Hunter Pack” in addition to the Deluxe content. With this package, two new playable Vault Hunters, two new story packs, additional side missions and two new map regions will be added to the game. In addition, players will have new weapons, cosmetics and special content themed around ECHO-4.
Gearbox stated that the Vault Card system will work like in Borderlands 3. In other words, players will be able to earn extra loot and experience points by completing missions with these cards. On the other hand, free updates are planned for everyone in addition to all this paid content.
The individual prices of the packages have not yet been announced, but Gearbox announced that it will share more details closer to the release date. Borderlands 4 seems determined to keep players in front of the screen for a long time with its extensive DLC plans. Fans are eagerly waiting for new information that Gearbox will reveal before the September launch.
