In response, Gearbox has shared a detailed settings list for Nvidia graphics cards and offers recommendations for a smoother experience for players.

According to Gearbox, players who meet the minimum system requirements can achieve approximately 30 fps at 1080p resolution on low settings. Users who meet the recommended system requirements can experience 60 fps at 1440p on medium settings. However, higher resolutions and frame rates require powerful hardware.
The tables provided by Nvidia include the optimal graphics settings for various graphics cards, starting from the RTX 2070 to the RTX 3090 Ti. Accordingly, at least an RTX 3070 Ti is required to achieve 60 fps at 1440p resolution. Those seeking 60 fps at 4K are recommended to have an RTX 3090 Ti or higher. Players are also reminded to use the latest graphics card drivers to improve performance.
Despite the guide, it appears that players with mid-range hardware will find it difficult to play the game as smoothly as they desire. While Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford stated that this will be improved with patches in the short term, Borderlands 4’s high hardware requirements appear unlikely to change in the long term.
