BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH Console Release Date Announced

This psychological horror experience, previously available only on PC, is now preparing to make its way to new platforms. Players are drawn into a world of mental darkness, where every step in this universe may be lurking with a threat. Described as one of the most personal horrors ever experienced, BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH pushes the limits of suspense.

BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH Coming to Consoles

Developed by Serafini Productions and initially released on Steam on April 24th, BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH will launch on August 18th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One. The game’s protagonist, Shinji, is a lonely young man isolated in his cramped Tokyo apartment. Financial problems, a lack of family connection, and severe social anxiety cast a dark shadow over the character’s inner world.

As players explore Shinji’s mind, they begin to hear not only their own inner voice but also the whispers of sinister entities emanating from outside. Hyakume, one of the game’s greatest threats, constantly watches with his face, his imminent attack unpredictable. Fear is not physical but mental, and every scene in the game aims to challenge the player’s psychological state.

While the computer is Shinji’s only means of connecting with the outside world, it is not a safe haven. Players feel under Hyakume’s watchful eye throughout the game, forcing them to remain constantly vigilant. Seemingly ordinary interactions can quickly escalate into nightmares, escalating the tension with each passing moment.

DON’T WATCH, the newest installment in the BrokenLore universe, is meticulously crafted not only to terrify but also to depict the character’s emotional breakdown. Offering a profound experience, especially for fans of the psychological thriller genre, the film challenges them to question where fear begins as much as where it ends. This dark journey awaits console players, launching on August 18th.
