Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies Terminus Cinematic Trailer

Publisher Activision and developers Treyarch and Raven Software have released a new trailer and information for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introducing the story behind one of the two “Zombies” launch maps that continues the Dark Aether storyline and introduces the Terminus team along with new character Maya Aguinaldo.

Call of Duty: Black Ops In the Cold War timeline of Call of Duty: Black Ops, after two years of battling undead plagues across the globe, the CIA-led Requiem team has finally managed to shut down the last remaining dimensional portal, sending its inhabitants back into the nightmarish hellscape known as Dark Aether. However, the team’s success came at a heavy price. Agent Samantha Maxis sacrificed herself to seal this twisted dimension from within. Worse, Requiem’s senior staff was unceremoniously arrested on the orders of Project Director Edward Richtofen.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies continues the Dark Aether story, delving deeper into the motivations and goals of Richtofen while exploring the fates of key characters. For years, former Requiem personnel – Grigori Weaver, Mackenzie “Mac” Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss and Stoney Maddox (Raptor One) – were imprisoned on Terminus, a mysterious garrison located in the Philippine Sea.
These characters have undergone significant mental and physical changes after more than five years of imprisonment. Grigori Weaver is no stranger to the ever-changing nature of war. Despite the guilt he feels over his perceived “failure” as commander of the team, he is determined to expose the duplicity of his former Director.

Elizabeth Grey was a docile scientist blind to the realities of the Dark Aether threat. However, the injustice of her incarceration revealed a tougher side. The transformation she underwent under Carver’s mentorship made her able to stand up to any threat.

Although Carver lost faith in the army, his loyalty to his friends and colleagues grew. Strauss, on the other hand, has become deeply dependent on his colleagues under the burden of incarceration.

Events take an explosive turn when Maya Aguinaldo, a young Filipino smuggler, arrives on the island. She is accompanied by Dr. William Peck. Although Aguinaldo and Peck are there to free our heroes, their arrival coincides with Terminus Island becoming the epicenter of another outbreak.

It soon becomes clear that the chaos on Terminus is not the only attack from the Dark Aether. The West Virginia town of Liberty Falls is also facing its own zombie attack. Their dire circumstances leave this diverse group of battle-hardened heroes with no choice but to fight together for survival.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on October 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
