Call Of Duty: The Haunting 2025 Announced
Activision has officially announced this year’s The Haunting event and shared the first poster for it. Held every October, this time, this special event will bring players face-to-face with the Predator threat. The event will launch on October 9th, alongside the final season of Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone content.
Call of Duty: The Haunting 2025 Coming with a Predator Theme
Activism blog post stated that The Haunting 2025 was developed with contributions from all the series’ studios and will offer special content “combining horror and fun” during the Halloween season. However, details remain a mystery. The only definitive information shared is that the Predator will be at the center of this year’s theme.
This theme was hinted at when Activision recently responded “ok” to a 2023 call to “add a Predator skin” on its social media accounts. This suggests the studio has been planning this idea for a long time. With the Predator’s arrival, players will be able to experience the legendary hunter in a new cosmetic set, special missions, and limited-time modes.
Last year’s The Haunting event attracted considerable attention with map variations featuring cult horror characters like Mike Myers, as well as special modes like Zombie Royale and Hordepoint. The 2025 edition will maintain a similar structure, expanding the experience with new reward paths, seasonal missions, and maps with a spooky atmosphere.
The Haunting 2025 coincides with the end of the Black Ops 7 beta, suggesting Activision is planning to celebrate both the new season and Halloween simultaneously. Players will be able to unlock a season of horror in Warzone and Black Ops 6 starting October 9th.
