Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer Leaked
The trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which has Marvel fans excited, has leaked before its official release. The teaser, shown to a private audience at New York Comic-Con, was shared by an unlikely source. Krysten Ritter, returning as Jessica Jones, shared a roughly 20-second clip of the trailer on her Instagram story, and the footage quickly went viral.
A Jessica Jones Surprise in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
The leaked footage begins with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) laughing, followed by fight scenes featuring Matt Murdock, Karen Page, Bullseye, and Daredevil in his new costume. The final part of the trailer delivers the anticipated moment: Krysten Ritter finally entering the MCU as Jessica Jones. The former Defenders member teams up with Daredevil to fight against Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force.
Fisk, who declared a state of emergency in New York at the end of the first season, is now trying to completely seize control of the city. Meanwhile, Matt Murdock is assembling his own team to challenge the Kingpin. It’s unclear who will join this team, but the possibility of Luke Cage (Mike Colter) returning is giving fans hope.
Marvel Television President Brad Winderbaum highlighted the series’ political aspect, saying:
“Dario Scardapane masterfully captures the political atmosphere of New York. This isn’t just a story about one man running around in a devil costume. The power struggles within the city, the new order Fisk has established, and the rising resistance to it create a Game of Thrones atmosphere.”
In the new season, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) continues to defend justice as a lawyer, while Fisk’s political rise plunges New York into a dark era. As the two are forced to confront their pasts once again, a major reckoning unfolds in the city.
The series’ cast also includes Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Jon Bernthal (Punisher), and Ayelet Zurer. Dario Scardapane is the showrunner, and Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum are among the producers. Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, and Jeffrey Nachmanoff are directing.
While the official trailer hasn’t been released yet, these leaked glimpses already confirm that Daredevil: Born Again season two will be much darker, more politically charged, and more character-driven.
