Date Everything! Release Date Delayed

Date Everything! is a fun sandbox dating simulation developed by Team17 and Sassy Chap Games. However, the game’s planned release in February 2025 was postponed to June 2025 due to the developers’ inability to complete the quality control process. The game’s lead designer, Ray Chase, made a statement regarding the postponement, stating that they needed more time due to the complex story paths and amount of content.

Why Was Date Everything! Postponed?

Ray Chase stated that the game was very advanced in development, but that they needed time to completely fix the bugs in the game. “We wanted to meet the Valentine’s Day release date in February, but it would be unfair to players to release such a big game with so many bugs still to be fixed,” said Chase, promising that the game would be completed and flawlessly released in June 2025.

In addition, Chase, who added a humorous touch to the game, shared that even one of the existing bugs turned into a flirtatious character in the game and that this character’s name is “Daemon”. This small detail once again reveals the creative structure and humorous tone of the game.

Date Everything! offers players the opportunity to flirt with everything, including household items. The characters in the game include items such as a refrigerator, a vacuum cleaner, and a laundry basket. There are a total of 100 voiced flirtatious characters in the game and three different relationship outcomes for each: Love, Friendship, or Hate.

In addition, the game includes 1.2 million words of dialogue, 70,000 voice lines, more than 11,000 hand-drawn visuals, and more than 4 hours of music. The game, which includes famous names such as Felicia Day, Johnny Yong Bosch, and Grey DeLisle in its voice cast, attracts attention with its rich content.

Date Everything! will be released digitally for Nintendo Switch in June 2025. Although players will have to wait a little longer for this original and entertaining experience, the developers state that they are confident that the game will meet all expectations.
