Death Stranding 2 Will Have Surprise Names

Hideo Kojima, who continues his work on Death Stranding 2, stated that the cameo characters that attracted great attention in the first game will also be in the sequel, but this time there has been a significant increase in numbers. Due to the high number of names that wanted to be included in the game, the Kojima Productions team had to turn down some applications. These statements give clues about how many surprises we will encounter in the new game.

No Room Left for Death Stranding 2 in the Studio

Hideo Kojima stated in a statement he attended at a program that the studio was literally overflowing due to the interest in Death Stranding 2. Kojima, who stated that the number of people screened for the game far exceeded expectations, said, “We had to reject half of the applicants because there was no room left.” It was learned that the studio screened many well-known names and included them in the game during this process.

According to the information provided by Kojima, it takes about 15 minutes to digitally scan each character. During this time, not only the visual data of the players but also their voice recordings were taken. In other words, there will be many familiar names that will appear in the game not only with their appearances but also with their voices. It has also become clear that the vast majority of these characters will play the role of the “Prepper”.

In the first Death Stranding game, many notable surprise names made cameos. In addition to names such as Conan O’Brien, Sam Lake and Edgar Wright, famous actors such as Margaret Qualley, Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro played the main characters. It seems certain that the second game will take this success even further.

Kojima has not yet given any clues about which famous names will appear in Death Stranding 2. Stating that they want players to discover these surprises during the game, Kojima thus makes the element of curiosity an important part of the game. It seems that gamers will try to guess this list until the release day.
