Destiny 2 and Star Wars Collaboration Announced
Destiny 2 has signed a major collaboration with Star Wars, one of the most iconic science fiction series in the gaming world. Bungie announced this special crossover event, prepared in partnership with Lucasfilm. With the Destiny 2: Heresy update, which will be released on February 4, players will have access to Star Wars-themed armor decorations, accessories, emotes, and finishing moves. The armor decorations, inspired by the Galactic Empire in particular, have been specially designed for each Guardian class.
Star Wars Themed Content Coming to Destiny 2
Bungie stated in the broadcast where it announced the Star Wars collaboration that these contents are one of the largest crossover events that Destiny 2 has ever done. Having previously collaborated with popular series such as The Witcher, Mass Effect, and Assassin’s Creed, Destiny 2 is now bringing the iconic themes of the Star Wars universe to the game.
As part of the event, armor sets inspired by Galactic Empire soldiers will be one of the most important innovations that will attract players’ attention. In addition, emotes and finishing moves that make you feel the spirit of Star Wars will enrich the personalization options in the game.
Destiny 2’s Heresy update is not limited to Star Wars-themed content. Bungie announced that Dreadnaught, which has been silent in the Destiny universe for a long time, will return. Nikko Stevens, one of Destiny 2’s narrative architects, stated that Dreadnaught’s reappearance after years has alarmed the galaxy and that a brand new experience awaits players.
Dreadnaught will play an important role in the final chapter of the Light and Darkness saga. Players will re-enter the fight in the corridors of this ship, which was abandoned after the fall of Oryx, and discover new secrets. Destiny 2’s Star Wars crossover is creating great excitement for both long-time fans of the series and Star Wars enthusiasts. This unique collaboration will meet players starting on February 4.
