Destiny 2’s Future Plans Leaked
As Bungie prepares to make its big announcement for Destiny 2, new expansion packs and collectibles for the game have unexpectedly hit the internet. Information about the new era, which will be offered under the name “Year of Prophecy”, emerged with a product page accidentally published on the Bungie Store. The leak revealed both physical collection content and digital game details. This development, which occurred before the announcement that fans were eagerly awaiting, increased excitement and speculation in the community.
Two Expansions, Giant Statues and Collection Surprises
According to the leak, the Year of Prophecy Collector’s Edition package will be sold with a price tag of exactly $275. This package includes two major expansions, “Edge of Fate” and the newly named “Renegades”. In addition, season passes, in-game rewards and many physical collectibles are also included in the box. The most striking piece is a detailed statue representing the three main Guardian classes (Hunter, Warlock, Titan).
In addition to the statue, an envelope containing specially printed documents, a metal badge, and a special in-game emblem called “Paradoxical Impression” are also included in the package. These materials, which are among the collectibles, also carry clues about the game’s narrative universe. In particular, the documents in the envelope may contain information about the mysteries of the new expansion Kepler.
The design of the statue was made in collaboration with PureArts, and the poses in which the characters display their super abilities are adorned with bronze details. The battle scars and engraved symbols on each figure symbolize the struggles in the Destiny universe. This visually impressive product seems to have a special place in fans’ collection showcases.
Destiny 2 Edge of Fate and Renegades Details Revealed
According to the leaked information, the Edge of Fate expansion will be released on July 15, 2025. Digital content will start to be sent to pre-order users as of May 9. Physical products will reach buyers in mid-July. This information has also largely confirmed the previously discussed dates. It is also stated that a new planet called Kepler will be the center of the story. This will be a mysterious planetoid with a new name given by the Nines and containing secrets from beyond time.
Renegades is the second expansion, previously known as “Codename Behemoth”. Although details are still limited, it seems that this expansion will witness brand new events in the Destiny universe. Both expansions will be offered as part of the Year of Prophecy period and will be supported by season passes. The items in the collection pack will only be available in English.
There has been no official statement from Bungie yet. However, it is expected that both this leak will be confirmed and additional information will be shared at the grand presentation to be held on May 6. The “Rite of the Nine” event, which will start on the same day, will also be waiting for players with new rewards and dungeon-based content. Clues about the new period of Destiny 2 have already created excitement.
