Double Dragon Revive Release Date Announced

The Double Dragon series, which first appeared in arcades in 1987, was a production that rewrote the definition of side-scrolling fighting games. Now, the series is taking on a new life with Double Dragon Revive, developed in collaboration with Arc System Works and Yuke’s.

Players will rediscover golden-era favorites with modern 3D graphics. The Lee brothers return to once again face powerful enemies from the past. Double Dragon Revive stands out with its simple and intuitive gameplay, controls adapted to the contemporary era, and balanced system. Thanks to the meticulous work of the experienced Arc System Works team in fighting games, even new players will be able to dive into the game right away.

Double Dragon Revive promises to be much more than simple button mashing. Dive into the game’s strategy by learning enemy patterns and discovering the most effective attack timings. Collect weapons scattered throughout the stages and utilize level cheats to gain the upper hand in battle.

The game will be available on October 23, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Pre-orders are now open. You can choose between the $34.99 Standard and $49.99 Deluxe editions.

The Deluxe edition includes the base game plus bonus character colors, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. Those who pre-order this edition will have 24-hour early access to the game starting October 22. Additionally, those who pre-order any edition will receive a bonus game called Double Dragon Dodge Ball.
