Dragon Age: The Veilguard Release Date Leaked
If the leak is true, Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date is targeted for October 29, 2024. While it’s unfortunate to learn about the release date before BioWare itself makes an official announcement, many Dragon Age: The Veilguard fans can breathe a little easier with this news.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Release Date Revealed in New Leak
Jeff Grubb, longtime Dragon Age developer Jeff Grubb, recently revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is targeted for release in October. While Grubb acknowledged that the information may change, recent developments suggest that this date is still valid.
Fans should treat this information with caution until BioWare confirms the release date, but the leak seems quite legitimate. Dark Horse recently released the web pages for both the regular and deluxe editions of The Art of Dragon Age: The Veilguard for both the regular and deluxe editions. Those pages were taken down shortly after, but both pages listed the release date for the artbook as October 30th. While some have speculated that the artbook and the game will be released on the same day, this seems unlikely given that October 30th falls on a Wednesday. Most games are released on Tuesdays or Fridays, and every Dragon Age game has been released specifically on Tuesdays.
- Dragon Age Game Release Dates
- Dragon Age: Origins – November 3, 2009
- Dragon Age 2 – March 8, 2011
- Dragon Age: Inquisition – November 18, 2014
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard – October 29th?
The artbook and the game don’t necessarily release close to each other, but that doesn’t mean the speculation is unfounded. Both Dragon Age: Inquisition and the artbook both released on November 18th, 2014, which sets a precedent, even if it was 10 years ago. Given Grubb’s comments, the Dark Horse leak, and Dragon Age’s release history, October 29th seems like the most likely date with the information that has surfaced so far.
