Bioware had previously only indicated Fall 2024 for Dragon Age: The Veilguard had previously only pointed to Fall 2024. This led to much speculation about the release date. EA’s financial reports also suggested that the game would not be released before October 1st. However, a video that recently hit the internet puts the release date as October 31st. The video features scenes from Bioware’s official gameplay trailer released in June and shows the game’s protagonist making his way through Minrathous to confront Solas.

Bioware announced that it would officially announce the release date on August 15th with a trailer on YouTube. The studio seems to be sticking to that plan and the trailer is expected to be released at that time. Bioware also shared the game’s release roadmap. On August 19, there will be “high-end fighter combat gameplay” and on August 26 there will be “companions week” events. On August 30, the developers will host a Q&A session with fans on the official Discord server.
