Dune: Awakening is experiencing a hacker crisis
Not only sandstorms but also profound injustice lurk in the wastelands of Arrakis. Despite last week’s mass ban wave in Dune: Awakening, some cheaters continue to dominate the game. While this cheating group, which has been repeatedly reported by many players on the server, remains unbanned, one player has made it his personal mission to continue the fight.
Players Stand Up Against Dune: Awakening Cheaters
Reddit user SpooN04, stating, “The entire server knows these players,” once again voices his frustration with Funcom. The videos SpooN04 posted clearly show the cheating group using carrier ships at excessive speeds and exploiting them to lure opposing players into traps.
This group of players not only uses carrier ships but also manipulates in-game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage over their opponents. Despite SpooN04 and other players submitting numerous reports, Funcom’s silence has sparked outrage in the community. Despite the players’ collective complaints, no action has been taken.
The situation has become so serious that SpooN04 now claims he is being targeted by this group. However, these threats don’t deter him. “I will continue to sacrifice my Thopters, as long as these cheaters are finally banned,” he says, continuing his fight.
An interesting detail is that the official Dune: Awakening social media account appears to be ignoring these serious complaints on Reddit while continuing to share player content. The community’s expectation is clear: cheaters are now completely removed from the game and a fair gaming experience is ensured.
