Dying Light: The Beast Will Meet Cast Early
Techland has announced that the release date of its open-world survival action game, Dying Light: The Beast, has been moved up from September 19th to September 18th. This small change, while increasing player anticipation, sends a strong message that the game is ready. Ultimate Edition owners are also getting free access.
Dying Light: The Beast Date Moved Up
Dying Light: The Beast will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. According to Techland’s announcement, over one million players have already pre-ordered the game, a figure that demonstrates the continued strong interest in the series.
It was also announced that a special reward will be announced for pre-order players. While details haven’t been released yet, this reward is planned to be announced during launch week. This way, early-orderers will not only get the game sooner but also receive unique content.
One of the most exciting things for series fans was the return of Kyle Crane. Crane, a beloved character from the first game, will be making a return appearance in The Beast, which resonated strongly with the community. The Techland team aims to make this surprise feel like a special gift to players.
The studio clearly stated the reason behind this change: the game’s readiness and the overwhelming community interest. Tymon Smektala, the head of the Dying Light series, described this decision as “making the impossible possible.” While the game’s release a day earlier than expected may seem like a small change, it means a lot to players.
