Announced at Thursday’s State of Play 2024 event, Dynasty Warriors Origins was introduced in a short trailer. The trailer offered first impressions of the game’s visuals and atmosphere. It was announced that the game will be the sequel to Dynasty Warriors 9, which came out for PS4 in 2018 and is considered as a step back in the series. This new game is expected to offer an updated experience with next-generation graphics and gameplay features while maintaining the series’ classic musou style.
Dynasty Warriors Origins has been announced for PlayStation 5 in 2025. The game is eagerly awaited by fans of the series and is said to take full advantage of the PS5’s powerful hardware capabilities. This will bring improvements such as larger battlefields, more enemies and improved AI.
