EA Sports Unveils New Rush Game Mode Coming to EA FC 25
EA Sports has announced the details of Rush, the new game mode for EA FC 25, which will be released this year. Rush aims to offer players a more dynamic and faster gameplay experience. This 5v5 mode will be played on a smaller pitch and will be available in various modes.
EA FC 25 Rush Game Mode Details
Rush replaces the traditional Volta mode and offers a new experience. Players will be able to play Rush in different game modes including Football Ultimate Team, Clubs, Manager Career and Kick-Off.
- Ultimate Team Rush: “Bring your Favorite Player Item and team up with friends in locked 5v5 matches.”
- Clubs Rush: “Team up with friends and bring your Clubs experience to Rush Pitch.”
- Manager Rush: “Get closer to your Youth Academy development throughout the season with new playable 5v5 Rush tournaments.”
- Kick-Off Rush: Choose any team from the available leagues to play in the Rush game.
How does Rush Work?
Rush will be played on a field measuring 63.7×46.6 meters, about 41.5% the size of a traditional 11v11 pitch. This design aims to encourage lateral passing and maintain enough width so that the playing field doesn’t feel too narrow. The game will last seven minutes in total and will be played without a half-time break. If the match ends in a draw, a golden goal period of 2:20 will be activated and if the result remains unchanged, a penalty shootout will decide the winner.
Offside rules have also been reorganized in Rush mode. The new dotted offside line will allow players to get behind a defender, but will not count offside unless they are in the attacking zone. Once in the zone, standard offside rules will apply.
Other Rush Details:
- Camera Options: There are four different camera angles to choose from.
- Indirect Free Kicks: Free kicks will always be indirect.
- Social Celebrations: Two-player private celebrations will be available.
- Tactical Requests: Tactical requests can be made for positioning and play calling.
- Corner Kicks and Throw-ins: Will be taken by the closest player when the ball goes out of bounds.
