Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Date Announced
Elden Ring Nightreign is an independent cooperative action role-playing game set in the Elden Ring universe, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game will take place in a procedurally generated version of Limgrave, requiring teams of three players to prepare for the ultimate boss battle over three in-game days. At the end of each in-game day, players will need to defeat a sub-boss to progress, and the game area will shrink, similar to a battle royale game.
Elden Ring Nightreign Beta Test and Registration Process
Bandai Namco has announced that Elden Ring Nightreign will be beta-tested on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in February 2025. Players who wish to participate in the beta test will be able to register via the game’s official website starting on January 10, 2025. The test will be held to perform technical validation of the game’s online systems and large-scale network load tests.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is directed by Junya Ishizaki, who previously worked on Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring. Unlike Elden Ring creators Hidetaka Miyazaki and George R. R. Martin, George R. R. Martin has no input into the story or direction of Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign aims to offer players a new cooperative experience in the Elden Ring universe. The beta test, which will take place in February, will be an important opportunity for players to experience the game in advance and provide feedback to the developers. More information on the full game’s release date and other details are expected to be shared in the coming months.
