Elden Ring Nightreign Gets Its First Update
The first official patch for Elden Ring Nightreign has been released, offering players new content along with some technical warnings. The developers warned users about frame rate drops that could occur with the latest graphics cards, especially on the PC side. Various adjustments and balance improvements were also made to improve the gaming experience with the 1.01 update.
Performance Warning Came with the Elden Ring Nightreign Update
The first update of Elden Ring Nightreign, version 1.01, offered by Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, was released simultaneously for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The purpose of the update was announced as improving the overall gameplay experience and increasing technical stability. Players were asked not to launch the game without installing the latest version.
According to the patch notes, character controls have been made more fluid, and new character scenarios have been added. In addition, some adjustments have been made to the music and texts, balance changes have been applied, and various bugs have been fixed. However, the most striking part of the update was the warning about performance issues on the PC side.
The development team stated that some players may experience frame rate drops even on the most up-to-date graphics cards. The team stated that they are investigating the cause of this situation and suggested temporarily lowering the graphics settings from “High” to “Medium” or “Low” and lowering the screen resolution. It was also recommended to update the graphics card drivers.
In cases where the game cannot be launched, the “Verify File Integrity” option was suggested on Steam. All these steps aim to temporarily solve the problems experienced by players. On the other hand, Elden Ring Nightreign’s trophy list has also been fully revealed. Bandai Namco’s announcement that it is working on the Elden Ring movie shows that the game’s universe continues to expand.
