The Elder Scrolls Online Necrom PC version is out

ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda Softworks have released the newest instalment in The Elder Scrolls Online saga, The Elder Scrolls Online Necrom. This new chapter delivers over 30 hours of new content and brings two new regions to explore, an all-new class to master, the Arcanist, and an evil conspiracy that threatens reality itself for you to uncover. Necrom is out now for PC/Mac and will launch on 20 June 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Necrom continues the story that began with the Scribes of Fate DLC, but players do not need to have completed the previous DLC to experience all the content this chapter has to offer.

Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha

Home to the insidious wizards of House Telvanni and the city of Necrom, the towering mushroom forests of the Telvanni Peninsula may look familiar to those who have travelled to other regions of Morrowind. This new region features a number of unique challenges for players to explore, including new side quests, World Bosses, dungeons and more.

Necrom also allows players to explore Hermaeus Mora’s home realm of Apocrypha. In this mysterious and almost limitlessly knowledgeable part of Oblivion, many mortals have lost their souls wandering its endless libraries. Players will also be able to explore a brand new section of Aprocypha, Chroma Incognito. This new area is unlike anything seen before and, like the rest of Apocrypha, contains countless dangers and secrets for players to explore.

Arcanist

Necrom brings one of the most requested updates, the new playable class Arcanist. The first new class added to ESO since the Necromancer in 2019 with the Elsweyr chapter, the Arcanist uses the forbidden powers of Apocrypha to deal damage, absorb incoming blows, and heal yourself or your allies.

New Challenges, Companions, and More

The Necrom chapter also includes a new group challenge, the 12-player Trial Sanity’s Edge, and a new world event, Bastion Nymic. Necrom also brings players two new companions: Sharp-as-Night and Azandar Al-Cybiades. Both companions can accompany you on your quest, level up, and equip items in this new chapter. Each companion brings their own story, combat skills, and quest chains to unlock.

The Elder Scrolls Online Necrom is now available in four editions for purchase:

  • The Elder Scrolls Online Deluxe Collection: Necrom
  • The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Necrom
  • The Elder Scrolls Online Deluxe Upgrade: Necrom
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Upgrade: Necrom

You can buy the game on Steam.
