Mafia: The Old Country Trailer
The teaser trailer for Mafia: The Old Country is short but impressive. Set in Sicily, the camera pans around a sawed-off shotgun, a wine bottle and a knife stuck in a table. As the narrator articulates the values of the mafia, he asks the viewer if they are “fully committed to the family”. At the end of the trailer, the landscape of Sicily is revealed, confirming the setting of the game.
The trailer also prompted some fans to theorize that this game could be linked to the first Mafia game. The 1903 date on the wine bottle suggests that the events could date back to the time before Don Salieri emigrated to America.
