Fantastic Four First Steps First Trailer Released

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) long-awaited film Fantastic Four: First Steps has met with viewers with its first trailer. The film, which is being introduced as the beginning of Phase Six, is attracting great attention with both its story and star-studded cast. Focusing on the lives of the Fantastic Four team before and after they gain their powers, the trailer also briefly shows the film’s main villain Galactus.

About Fantastic Four: First Steps

The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal plays the role of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, the leader of the Fantastic Four. The other members of the team were announced as Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing). The family dynamic and the theme of togetherness among the team are particularly emphasized in the trailer. Sue Storm’s words, “No matter what life throws at us, we face it as a family,” summarize the main message of the film.

The film takes place in an alternative version of the 1960s. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated that the film will be a period film set in New York City, but that an atmosphere different from the Marvel Universe that audiences are accustomed to will be created. The film, which promises a visually retro-futuristic design, revisits the origin story of the Fantastic Four.

Galactus, played by Ralph Ineson as the main villain of the film, is briefly seen in the trailer. Julia Garner will also appear before the audience as Shalla-Bal, a different interpretation of the Silver Surfer. This detail has already sparked great curiosity among comic book fans. The film will be directed by Matt Shakman, whom we know from WandaVision, while the screenplay team includes Peter Cameron, Josh Friedman and Jeff Kaplan.

Fantastic Four: First Steps will meet the audience in theaters on July 25, 2025. Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting this film, which will both be a story that returns to its roots and will form the basis of the new generation of MCU adventures.
