Assassin’s Creed Hexe was first announced in September 2022 alongside Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the mobile-focused Assassin’s Creed Jade. Hexe, which was announced to focus on the witch hunts of Central Europe in the 17th century, was described by Ubisoft as a “different Assassin’s Creed experience.” However, no details about the game have been shared since then.

Ubisoft announced that Hexe will be added to the Animus Hub launcher. This new system will bring together all games released after Assassin’s Creed Origins and future titles. Ubisoft’s long silence has raised questions among fans. However, the company stated that Hexe is still in development and aims to offer players a different experience. Ubisoft producer AndrĂ©e-Anne Boisvert announced that in addition to Hexe, a multiplayer game called Assassin’s Creed Invictus and other unannounced games are also planned.
