First Photos Arrive from the Ahsoka Season 2 Set
The second season of Ahsoka, the beloved Star Wars series, has officially concluded. The post quickly garnered significant attention from both fans and the Star Wars community.
Ahsoka Season 2 Arrives with Major Twists
The new season of Ahsoka will directly continue the story after the dramatic finale of the first season on Peridia. Grand Admiral Thrawn’s escape with the Nightsisters and Ezra Bridger’s secret boarding of the ship will form the basis of the second season. Meanwhile, Ahsoka and Sabine will remain on Peridia to continue their Jedi training, while the fate of Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll’s student, will be revealed in the new season.
Director Bryce Dallas Howard, speaking about the second season, said the series will be “a visually stunning, emotional, and epic adventure.” It was also emphasized that romance will be more prominent in the series. Howard’s words suggest that both the action and character depth will increase in the new season of Ahsoka.
One of the biggest surprises will be Hayden Christensen’s return to the role of Anakin Skywalker. The renowned actor confirmed his involvement in the eight-episode second season at Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo. As in the first season, Anakin will reappear in Ahsoka’s “World Between Worlds” scenes, guiding the character’s inner journey.
The series, produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau, continues to expand the Star Wars legacy. Featuring a strong cast including Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lars Mikkelsen, and Eman Esfandi, Ahsoka is available to watch on Disney+. The new season is expected to be released in the first half of 2026.
