Flexibility Will Be at the Forefront in Battlefield 6
New leaks about Battlefield 6 provide important clues about the game’s gameplay dynamics. In the images coming from Battlefield Labs, both classic equipment and a flexible class structure stand out. While familiar elements are preserved for fans of the series, some controversial features are also returning.
Battlefield 6 Classes and Equipment Are Being Renewed
It has been confirmed that the classic Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon classes are returning in the game. This structure offers character roles similar to previous games in the series. However, as in Battlefield 2042, weapons and equipment in this game are not limited to classes. In other words, a player in the Recon class can use an assault rifle if they want; similarly, different classes can choose the equipment they want.
The development team plans to encourage players to use weapons appropriate for their class by defining “features” specific to each class. However, the lack of any restrictions shows that flexibility is prioritized. This means a new approach in terms of competitive balance and gameplay variety.
Some equipment has also emerged in the footage recorded in the Battlefield Labs test. These include a defibrillator, ammo box, deployable shield, and a tracer dart that marks enemies. In addition, two other equipment that has not yet been fully identified has been viewed. It is stated that these items may be changed or completely removed in the final version of the game.
Although official statements about Battlefield 6 are still limited, it is understood through leaks that the game aims to offer a modern and liberated combat experience. The fact that it offers flexible gameplay options along with aspects that remain loyal to the classic series increases the excitement of players waiting for this production.
