Free Batman Games on Xbox Store
Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X users got an unexpected surprise from the Xbox Store: free Batman games. For Batman fans, this is a chance to return to the dark streets of Gotham. Interestingly, these free downloads are currently only available on Xbox platforms and not on other platforms. It’s unclear how long this deal will be available on the Xbox Store.
What Does Your Free Batman Games Offer?
The Xbox Store is now offering some episodes of Batman: The Telltale Series absolutely free. These are the final three episodes of the 2016 game: Episode 3: New World Order, Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham, and Episode 5: City of Light. Four episodes from the 2017 sequel are also available for free download.
You don’t need to own the main version of the game to get these downloads. So, even if you don’t own the first episodes of the game, you can still benefit from this free content. This gives Batman fans a chance to complete the missing episodes for free.
After the huge success of the Batman: Arkham series, Batman games went silent for a while. While the DC Comics universe has recently seen games like Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, for Batman fans, these titles haven’t had the same impact as the Arkham series. Now Xbox users can return to the dark world of Gotham with Batman: The Telltale Series.
These free episodes don’t include both games in their entirety. However, these surprise downloads on the Xbox Store are a great opportunity, especially for those who haven’t experienced the game before. Also, this content may be permanent, so it’s worth claiming it on the Xbox Store before it’s gone.
