Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Launches on Mobile

At The Game Awards 2024, Netmarble announced the highly anticipated Game of Thrones: Kingsroad game. Set to be released on iOS and Android platforms in 2025, this action-adventure RPG is set to reintroduce players to George R. R. Martin’s epic world. The game takes place in the fourth season of the Game of Thrones series and offers the opportunity to explore an unknown corner of Westeros.

Game of Thrones Experience on Mobile

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad offers players the chance to join the story as the heir of House Tyre. Players will be able to customize their characters by choosing from the Knight, Assassin, or Sellsword classes. Surviving in the complex political landscape of Westeros, protecting your house’s legacy, and facing threats from the North are at the heart of the game.

Netmarble states that the game includes not only the familiar faces of Westeros, but also completely new stories and characters. The rich personalities of the characters and the details of the game world successfully reflect the atmosphere of the HBO series. In addition, the dangers beyond the Wall and the strategic choices you will make to protect your house increase the depth of the game.

Developed with Unreal Engine technology, the game promises a visually impressive experience on mobile platforms. Netmarble CEO Young-sik Kwon points out that Westeros is a world full of untold stories, and states that this game will be a unique adventure for fans. The game may not be limited to mobile devices; the possibility of expanding to different platforms is also being considered.

Although an exact date has not been announced, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, which is expected to be released in 2025, is preparing to offer an exciting experience for mobile players. Are you ready to write the fate of House Tyre?
