GeForce NOW App Released for Steam Deck

GeForce NOW support was first announced at the CES event in January and has now officially reached Steam Deck users. With the new application, it is possible to play games over the cloud, while supported games offer 4K resolution 60 FPS performance and HDR10 image support. In addition, NVIDIA’s technologies such as DLSS 4 and Reflex can also be used.

While Steam Deck’s own hardware can be limited in some high-end games, GeForce NOW allows these games to be run smoothly at high settings. Especially when played with a cloud connection over an RTX-supported system, the efficiency obtained from the device increases significantly. This provides players with a richer and smoother experience.

According to Nvidia’s statement, when GeForce NOW is used over Steam Deck, battery life can be improved by up to 50%. This also contributes to the portability advantage. The system, which also works smoothly when connected to a TV, turns the handheld console into a home console.

The GeForce NOW service has a wide range of options, from the free version to different subscription options that cost up to $20 per month. Steam Deck users will now be able to access this service according to their own preferences and enjoy a wide game library without pushing the hardware limits.
