Genshin Impact 5.0 will bring new story, new characters along with new region, Natlan. Natlan is the sixth region that travelers will visit. New region will also bring new mechanics, in the Special Program, more information about upcoming patch shared.
5.0 patch will introduce new quality of life changes to game. This patch will also be the anniversary patch, that’s why a lot of of new quality of life changes happening to game. For anniversary rewards, players will be awarded total of 20 wishes along with other resources. Also players will be able to choose one character from Standart banner.
After the patch 5.0, when pulling for limited 5* character, the chance to get banner character will be increased to 55%. Previously it was 50%. This means players will have high chance to get the banner character. Aside from changes to limited character pulling, weapon banner will also receive new change. Previously, if you wanted to pull the weapon you wanted, you have to select the weapon you wanted between two weapons and in order to get the weapon you wanted, if the worst luck happens, you will end up losing two 50/50’s in a row. Everytime you lose 50/50, you get fate point which will guarantee to get the weapon you wanted. Now with the recent change, this fate point requirements will be reduced to one. Which means the first time you lose 50/50, next time you will get the weapon you wanted immediately. This change was expected from fans for a very long time. Now, it will be so much easier to get the weapon you wanted.
Aside from these changes, players will get an item to create artifact and choose two substats along with main stat. This means you can create elemental goblet with double crits but there is no guarantee it will roll good. There is still a chance it might get ruined.
The new limited 5* characters, Kinich and Mualani will get their banners as well. First half will be Mualani along with Kazuha and Kachina as a 4* character. Second phase we will get Kinich with Raiden Shogun rerun. Kachina will also be given free. Top-Up bonuses will also be reset.
Genshin Impact 5.0 will be hype for all players who waited for these changes and Natlan release. New patch will be released 28 August.
