Genshin Impact 5.0 Will Change Something About Devices
Since the release of Genshin Impact, developers Hoyoverse has changed a lot of thing about game, the game is in different position than it’s first released. Genshin Impact is one of most popular games of all time.
If nothing changes, Genshin Impact 5.0 might drop around August and new region Natlan will be coming along with it. Meanwhile, an official announcement is made about this version. According to the announcement, they will raise the device performance requirements when 5.0 releases. For affected devices, the game will get visual decrease to make the FPS performance better.
Currently Affected Devices
- iOS: Models with A12 processors or lower
- Android: Models with a Snapdragon 865, Dimensity 1200 (8050), Kirin 9000SL, Samsung Exynos 1080 processor or lower
- PlayStation 4
In the past, other performance updates came with controversy. HoYoverse’s decision to replace the SMAA and TAA anti aliasing techniques with FSR 2.0 in 2022 received major backlash after many complaints that the game’s graphics were actually downgraded.
There are still at least 2 patches since the release of 5.0. Hoyoverse might change this decision and go for another way. We are looking forward to see more from Genshin Impact.
