Genshin Impact Confirmed More Details Regarding Upcoming Patch
With the recent livestream, Genshin Impact has released a deep dive into the region of Nod-Krai, giving players a detailed overview of its locations, gameplay, and characters – including a surprising way to obtain limited 5-Star characters.
Genshin Impact Luna I Details
First of all, Nod-Krai chapters will be named as Luna instead of Version. This makes the Version 6.0 named as Luna I. Luna I will be the first chapter of the Song of the Welkin Moon set in Nod-Krai. It will introduce three new playable characters to the Genshin Impact roster: Lauma, Flins, and Aino. Unlike Natlan and Fontaine, their stories will be integrated directly into the Archon Quest, with the developers promising a far more cohesive narrative for Nod-Krai.
In terms of Event Banners, players can expect to see Lauma and Nahida in the first half, with the second half headlined by Flins and Yelan. Furthermore, Aino will be featured alongside Flins and Yelan as the game’s first 4-Star Hydro Claymore. However, Version 6.0 will also bring a Sumeru Chronicled Banner to Genshin Impact in the first half, allowing players to wish for any of the following 5-Stars from Sumeru: Alhaitham, Cyno, Tighnari, Dehya, Nilou, Wanderer.
The Special Program for Luna I was over 100 minutes long and introduced two shocking changes to Genshin Impact’s gacha system. The first raises Genshin Impact’s level cap to 100 via a new item called a Masterless Stellar Fortuna. Players can receive a Masterless Stellar Fortuna for every copy of a 5-Star character after reaching their C6. This effectively makes 50:50 losses far more valuable. The second allows players to obtain a free constellation for any 5-Star character before Version 4.0, except for Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida, Yelan, Kazuha, and Alhaitham. This reward will be obtainable by completing weekly objectives and will refresh every twelve weeks.
In terms of gameplay improvements, Genshin Impact players will now be able to craft Condensed Resin for 60 Original Resin (up from 40), significantly reducing the daily grind. Furthermore, whenever a new 5-Star character makes their debut, players will be able to claim any reward from any Weapon or Talent Domain for the first week. As for the Artifact system in Genshin Impact, starting with Version 6.0, players will be able to see the hidden fourth attribute from the get-go, allowing them to make better decisions.
Lastly, the livestream also spoke of Miliastra Wonderland, the upcoming UGC sandbox for Genshin Impact. It will enable players to create their own custom characters, join public lobbies, and design unique gameplay experiences across a variety of genres through a powerful toolset. Open beta for the sandbox will commence on October 22, 2025, with additional features added progressively until Version 6.3. Nod-Krai will open its doors to the Traveler on September 10.
