Although the game is expected to be released in 2027, definitive information about the cast has not yet been shared.

Uncertainty Continues About Yennefer in Witcher 4

Denise Gough, known for her role as Yennefer, openly stated in an interview with Eurogamer that she was not aware of the The Witcher 4 process. Gough, who said, “I don’t know. I don’t know anything,” said that she was not informed about the project and had not received an offer yet. Stating that she had never been in the gaming world before, the actress admitted that she did not even recognize the name of the Yennefer character when she first met her.

This situation worries Witcher fans, but similar uncertainty has previously been experienced for Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt. Cockle had also initially stated that he would not be involved in the project, but his return was later confirmed. Therefore, it has become a matter of curiosity whether the outcome will be the same for Yennefer.

It was previously announced that The Witcher 4 will focus on Ciri’s story, considered the “good ending” of Witcher 3. Considering Yennefer’s past educational role for Ciri, fans are eagerly waiting for the character to appear at least in a small scene. Seeing a scene where Geralt and Yennefer are together is among the expectations of many players.

CD Projekt Red is currently keeping quiet about the character cast. Being in the early stages of development is seen as a natural result of such uncertainties. However, fans still hope to see Yennefer, one of the indispensable characters of the Witcher universe, in the new game.
