Ghost of Yötei Revealed

In the latest Playstation State of Play, Sony and Sucker Punch revealed their latest game, Ghost of Yötei, which will be sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.

Ghost of Yötei Announced

Set 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei will follow new protagonist Atsu in the year 1603. In the game, players will explore a region of Japan known as Ezo. Sucker Punch has teased “massive sightlines” for the game world, improved graphics across the board, new gameplay mechanics, and much more. The trailer gives players a brief look at what to expect from Ghost of Yotei, but it’s clear that a lot more is left to be revealed.

A specific release date for Ghost of Yotei was not announced in the trailer, but a vague 2025 release window was confirmed for the open world game. Sucker Punch said that it has “much more to share” in the months ahead, so fans should definitely keep an eye out for more information on the game’s story and how it will shake up the Ghost of Tsushima gameplay formula.
