Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT Revealed Ahead of Launch
One of AMD’s new generation graphics card series, the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT, was purchased and unboxed by a user in Slovakia before its official launch. This card, which is the GAMING OC model, has a capacity of 16 GB VRAM and requires three 8-pin power connectors. Photos of the card’s packaging and features were shared on Reddit, but were quickly removed. Nevertheless, these leaks provide important information about the card’s details.
Technical Details of Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT
The Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC stands out as a full XT model equipped with 16 GB VRAM. According to the information on the box, the card requires an 850W power supply. Considering that the previously leaked PowerColor Red Devil RX 9070 XT model required a 900W PSU, it appears that this model has a lower power consumption.
The design of the card reveals that it has a larger structure than previous renders. Having three 8-pin power connectors indicates that it offers a high-performance-oriented structure. However, the biggest problem for those who want to use this card is that the official drivers have not been released yet. AMD is expected to release these drivers next week.
It is stated that the card is offered for sale by a Slovakian vendor for a high price of 1,600 Euros. Although the source of this card, which was released before the launch, is unknown, it is expected that it will not be long before gamers get their hands on it. In addition, the fact that the 16 GB memory configuration has not been officially confirmed by Gigabyte makes this leak even more interesting.
AMD is expected to officially introduce the RX 9070 series on February 28. However, many details of the card have already emerged thanks to these leaks. It is certain that the Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT GAMING OC model in particular will attract great interest among gamers and technology enthusiasts.
