God Save Birmingham Gameplay Trailer Released

Ocean Drive Studio is taking us on a different zombie adventure. When it comes to a medieval adventure full of zombies, things get even more extraordinary. However, God Save Birmingham has managed to attract attention by focusing on this extraordinary aspect. The newly released gameplay trailer gives the first strong clues about what this ambitious production will offer.

God Save Birmingham: Zombie Apocalypse in the Middle Ages

The new trailer shared has shown more clearly what kind of gameplay experience God Save Birmingham will offer. The game, which progresses with a third-person camera, draws attention with its intense stealth and survival mechanics as well as action. Environmental interactions in particular make the gameplay more dynamic and strategic. Details such as piling up items in front of doors, using stairs as bridges, or reaching high places by climbing on chairs leave the environment entirely to the player’s initiative.

The game is not limited to physics-based interactions. Survival elements are also quite deeply processed. Indicators such as hunger, thirst, fatigue and panic must be constantly managed. Even simple operations such as eating in the inventory are done in real time; that is, the game does not stop during the action. In addition, physical injuries such as leg fractures caused by falling affect the character’s mobility.

This fight against the zombie invasion is also supported by heavy and impressive takedown animations in the style of The Last of Us. However, it is emphasized that the same level of depth of narrative should not be expected. Nevertheless, with its atmosphere, environmental design and detailed survival mechanics, God Save Birmingham manages to create its own unique identity. The game, which does not yet have a definite release date, plans to meet players with the early access process.
